Terms

Using this site means accepting the terms below. They are short because the site is simple: we publish articles, and we do not hold accounts.

This is not professional advice

Everything here is general information. It is not medical, legal, psychological, or immigration advice, and it does not create a professional relationship of any kind.

That matters more here than on a typical site, because queer people's questions routinely cross into territory where the correct answer depends on jurisdiction: what is legal where you live, what a clinic will or will not do, what disclosing your status to an employer means for you. We write about how things tend to work socially. We do not tell you what the law says about you.

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. If you are in crisis, in the US call or text 988, or find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com.

Meeting people carries risk we cannot remove

We write about where people meet and how to do it more safely. Nothing here is a guarantee about any person, place, app, or venue. We do not vet the people you will meet and we are not a party to anything that happens between you.

Use your own judgment, particularly around meeting strangers, sharing your location, and being photographed or recorded.

Age

This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Some material discusses sex explicitly.

Accuracy and availability

We try to keep this accurate and correct errors when we find them or when readers report them. We do not promise the site is complete, error-free, or continuously available. Venues close, apps change, and laws change faster than we can re-check every page.

External links

We link to organisations, resources, and services we do not control and are not responsible for, including their content and their privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of this site or reliance on its content, including decisions about meeting people, disclosure, relationships, or safety.
